Beverly Hills is described in the title as being in Los Angeles, whereas it is a separate incorporated city. The mansion with the red brick gates and long driveway shown here was usually known as "Pickfair" after the last names of the two Hollywood movie stars who lived there--Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks. The mock Tudor style imposed on the original hunting lodge on the property was part of the remodel by architect Wallace Neff.
