Paul de Longpré (1855-1911) was a painter of flowers whose home and gardens in Hollywood, designed in 1901 by Louis Bourgeois in the Mission Revival style, were a popular stop on tours, even after his death and until their demolition starting in 1924. A house on the left and a garden house on the right are surrounded by flowers and visited by tourists exiting the garden house ("kiosk"). The publisher's number in front of the title is 2228.
