This train station in a Moorish style was opened in1893 and served despite damage in the 1933 Long Beach earthquake until the opening of Union Station in 1939. In the picture a cluster of buildings shelters a large crowd of people, as some cross the street. On the right a line of horse-drawn carriages stand waiting. Inside the station was a Harvey House restaurant. The divided back has the publisher's number 5684 and a statement that the card was made in Germany.
