This is one of several postcards in this collection that depict Main Street looking north or south from 4th or 6th Streets, by the same producers. Buildings line the streets, and in between are horse-drawn vehicles, vintage automobiles, pedestrians, bicyclists and trolleys (streetcars, light rail). The publisher's number on the divided back is A110. The slogan "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders" suggests that this was part of a promotion of The Coast Line-Shasta Route of the Southern Pacific Railroad.
