White buildings with reddish roofs show up against mountains in the distance. The viewpoint from an upper story across a road shows trees and lawns. No publisher is credited on this card, but there is a paragraph advertising the services of the sanitarium and hospital. This structure was originally Mound City Hotel, built around 1888. It was purchased by the Seventh-day Adventist Church for a sanitarium and incorporated in 1905, with the original building replaced in 1967. This card has a white border, a style popular from about 1915 to 1930.
