A pier stretches from a ramp on a city street down onto pilings and over the Pacific Ocean, where the Sun Pavilion can just be seen at the end. The crowd becomes increasingly thick going onto the pier, until it appears to be packed solid. The Chamber of Commerce is in the right lower corner; the white building on the left is the State Theatre, and the next building with the green roof on the horizon is the old Municipal Auditorium. The number A-85859 on the back at the top of the dividing liine belongs to Curt Teich and was used to date the card. The publisher's number is L-43 on the back.
