A picnic scene with a family on the lawn and tables on sawhorses includes a small building, another shelter, and trees. States societies in the United States are social organizations within a state with membership comprising immigrants from another state. The postcard is hand-tinted and the number 35918 appears in the lower left corner of the picture. In the top white margin just before the title is the publisher's number 226A. The publisher was in business from 1914 to 1934, spanning approximately the era of white borders on postcards.
