This card is postmarked (1906) before the date on which postal regulations changed to allow messages on a divided back (March 1, 1907). So it is a divided-back postcard, but one that supposedly only allows a return address to be written in the left panel. Messages are written in this space on other postcards in this collection. There is a legible postmark, a special cancellation, and a postage stamp as well as a legible address.
