This unsent Real Photo Post Card was created by a process in which any photographer could take a "snapshot," deliver the negative to a photo developer and have it printed on a postcard backing. There is no publisher or date, but the photographic paper used for development was produced from 1930-1950. The All American Canal was constructed by the United States Bureau of Reclamation during the 1930s and started delivering water to the Imperial Valley in 1940.
