The Methodist branch of Protestant churches, specifically from the Anglican or Episcopal congregations, was still called the M.E. or Methodist-Episcopal church at this time and was split into several factions. The blank right edge of this vintage postcard attests to its early production, since, although this back is divided, cards produced before early 1907 left space for messages not allowed on the address side. The publisher was in operation from 1901-1915, printing postcards such as this one in Germany. The publisher's number on the back is 24288.
