[perpendicular to rest of message, at top] When are taxes due?
Wednesday night,
Dear Mama & all:
Emma's letter came tonight also her card. I am much better tonight. I believe I was in a serious condition because I was awfully bloated, nearly up to my heart. But that is just about all gone and my side does not ache at times at all now. It was a constant ache for four days. Don't be uneasy. I can feel I am better. I will be very careful. Love to all
