Gentlemen:-- The car of meat arrived all o.k., except that the chickens received were scalded, and were not in good order.

Please, in the future, send us only dry picked, and always with the entrails removed, as well as head and feet.

Our Steward advises that he thinks the meat might be cut a little closer, and states it is cheaper for us to buy bacon and ham here, quality being about the same that we usually get from you, and at a quarter of a cent less.

Will we have the pleasure of a visit from your Mr Armour, this season, as usual?
