C. H. Hooper, Esq.,
Cashier, First Nat'l Bank,
San Bernardino, Calif.,

Dear Sir,
Our agent, Mr A. Van Millengen, is required to visiti Colton daily, from San Bernardino.

Could we arrange for a thirty day pass over the Motor Line?

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock.

J. D. Spreckels, Esq.,
San Framcisco, Calif.,

Dear Sir:
We purchased twelve saddles of elk to come with a car load of meat from Kansas City, and shall send by boat to you tomorrow the elk skins. We would like to have the skins delivered to someone for tanning, so that they can be used for rugs in the hotel. Kindly advise your agent to look out for the skins and to see that they are delivered to a competent firm who will do the work at a reasonable figure.

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock
