Kansas City, Mo.,

Gentlemen:-
Your favor of the 6th inst., advising shipment of car, is at hand, so we cannot wire you, but we always wish the poultry, as first ordered, drawn. Do not want to pay freight on the undrawn as the latter keeps no better. I do not understand your sentence, Figure half cent of per lb., for drawn, and shall have to await receipt of invoice to tell.

We were quoted same day by Butler & Co., poultry, drawn, head and feet on, undrawn, turkeys 14; hens 9 to 10; roosters 6; ducks 11; broilers $3.50 per doz.

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock.
