Gentlemen:-
I desire to know what you will charge us for a plate per cut on first page of attached Menu, and ten thousand folders of a similar texture, delivered f.o.b., and how soon you could do the work.

Please wire answer, and in your answer also mention the price for printing the wine list on Menu.

Yours truly,

Messrs J. D. Spreckels & Bro's,
San Francisco, Calif.,

Gentlemen:-
What is your arrangement with Mr Rice, at Los Angeles, a commission or salary? My reason for asking is, he wishes to use part of the window of our office there for displaying some Hawaiin scenes, and we desire to accommodate him; but we we pay rental for the office, if he bears the expense, we want him to stand a proportion of the rental of the window.

Yours truly,
