Dear Sir:
We have our own ice machine, make our own ice and enough additional to cover the needs of San Diego. San Diego is a very poor ice town, on account of the cool nights. Having been in the ice business in the East I understand the situation pretty well.

Southern California just now is being overrun with machines, and I do no believe you could invest to good advantage in that direction, at present. There are probably a half dozen going up in the southern part of the State at this time.

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock

Messrs Inguglia & Co.,
San Francisco, Calif.

Gentlemen:-
Please ship
75 lbs shad
75 lbs salmon.

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock
Manager.
