Your favor of the 18th inst., is received. We have a very good chef now, one we have had almost since the opening of the house, and we do not care to make any change. We
Are not using a second. We could, however, use your wife, and it might possibly lead to an opening in the house, but I could not suggest any such thing to our present chef.
