Messrs Short & Schwan,
Pomona, Calif.
Gentlemen:- Send us fifteen cases of fresh ranch eggs. Tell us how much credit you will give us for returned egg cases.
We have a good many and would like to use our own.
Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock

Dear Sir:
In reference to the amount charged you for office at Los Angeles; in one sense the amount does seem a little too large in proportion to the full amount charged, but if you will bear in mind, the Bench Co., was to undertake to pay $80.00 for 50 ft. of room and assume the responsibility of that amount. You agreed to pay $25 for 15 ft. We were able to secure a contract for the front 30 ft. at $50., we you are paying no more than you aggress to, we getting a little better terms owing to the assumption of risk of paying for the while. Under these conditions I do not think it exactly right to ask the Beach Co., to reduce the rent.
Yours, E. S. Babcock
