Gentlemen:-
I enclose you, herewith, notice of protest of your draft on this company. The protest must have been served about bedtime, on the 10th inst., and it was served in spite of your telegram.
You should not have shipped the meat to us in the way you did, without giving us an opportunity to examine and check before making payment for same. This company will bear no proportion of the protest fees.
