Dear Sir:- We have received today a carload of supplies among which are 300 or 400 turkies, dressed, but we will take what turkeys you have at 15 cents live weight, delivered in good order, provided the turkeys are in good condition.

Yours truly,

San Francisco, Calif.,

Dear Madam:-
We beg to acknowledge receipt of your favor of the 6th inst., and to state in reply thereto that we can, to the middle of January, give you very nice, sunny rooms, for yourself and two children, for $[62.00] per week. Generally, the rates of this hotel, after the 15th of January, advance, though there are a good many rooms which we continue to give at the above rate.

Yours respectfully,
E. S. Babcock.
