My dear Mr O'Neil:
Is it so fixed that we can get milk from Las Flores, say 20 to 40 gallons per day, on the evening train, and , if so, what would the price be delivered here, or delivered on cars and the making of freight rate left to me?

Dear Sir:
The failure of the Cal. Nat. Bank, here, hurt us some, though but slight, but it is going to make matters so very tight, that we must stop all expense where possible, and I should like to have you the balance of the year keep down the expense of advertising to the lowest notch without injuring the effect of the work already done. We must against our will call a halt in expenses.

Your favor of the 14th inst., is received.

The circular rates which you have, expiring on the 15th of Oct., will be extended to the 15th of Dec. After that time the full tariff will probably be charged, though we may make exceptions to the rule.
