Henry Born, Esq.,
New York, N.Y

Dear Sir:-
I wrote R.A.Harrsion, of the Hotel Gazette, for your address, and received a letter, dated the 29th [ul t.], saying you were then in Pittsburg, but would reach New York within two days. I have wired you to know whether we could secure your services as pastry cook.

For several months I have been the active manager of the hotel. Charley Robinson, whom you will remember, is steward and has full charge of the rear of house. You would be directly under him. We have a much quieter and better run house now than at any other previous time, and I should very much like to have you come back and remain with us permanently, if you can.

Yours truly,
