New York, N.Y.

Dear Sir: - Your favor of the 15th inst., to our eastern agent, F.G. Barry, has been referred to me. I am inclined to think we will give you the position of pastry cook at $ 70.00 per month by the year.

How many guests would you take care of, alone, and at what number would you begin to require an assistant, and what price would you pay assistant? I hand you pamhlet, from which you will see what kind of a house this is: It certainly is a choice place to live.

At what can you get a first-class baker, per month? During four or five months of the year we run light, comparatively. During the summer a reasonable business, but during Jan. Feb. Mch an April we do a rushing business.

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock
Manager.
