Gentlemen:-
Your letter of the 17th inst., to Mr Robinson, has been referred to me, with notation saying the meat arrived in good order with 25 lbs., of ice in the box, but that the meat was cut longer than the meat we get from the butcher, here, and that there was about 7 lbs., more on the loin and rib than should be, and that the rack of mutton should not be split. The reason earlier answer was not given was that he was waiting for the invoice. From our present lights it will not pay us to take meat from you unless it can be cut shorter.

Yours truly,

Manager.
