Dear Sir:-
The meat, as you know, for our hotel, must be unloaded promptly after arrival, and before we could have gotten word from you it would have been unpacked and in the ice boxes. If you will call over and see Mr Robinson, my assistant, he can satisfy you as to the condition of the meat, and may be able to show you some of it. As you are aware, the meat goes into boxes, and the condition can only be discovered when the car was opened, to put the meat into the ice boxes, and that must be done rapidly, it being impossible to leave the meat exposed twenty minutes.

Yours truly,
