Dear Sir:-
I am thinking of trying to buy a supply of milk from the Las Flores Ranch, which would run from 15 to 50 cans daily. The milk must come by express if we handle it, and it would require a pretty low rate to induce the O'Neil dairy to sell the milk rather than make it into butter. As it now is you are getting expressage on butter from the milk, but the quantity of milk would amount to fully ten times more than the butter.
Please see what you can do for me, and I shall then try to negotiate with the dairy people.
