Gentlemen:-
I find your two favors of the 2nd inst., before me on my return from a week's absence, and that our steward has already wired you in my name his wishes in the matter of shipment of car, etc.
The first drawn poultry received from you came in perfect order. It is so much to our advantage to use drawn poultry, on account of the weight, that we much prefer drawn poultry whenever possible to obtain it.
