There is a dairy on the Santa Margarita Ranch where they have fresh buttermilk every day, made sweet. They also have a good deal of milk which they feed to the hogs, after the cream is separated therefrom. This ought to do for cooking purposes, as it seemed to taste all right to me. How much could you use, in case can get it at a very low rate.
