E. C. Dyer, A.M.
Have given instructions to Mr Kellogg to take an invoice of the store and wine room stock on the first of next month. I wish invoice taken every month and by some one connected with the hotel who has nothing to do with the issues, so as to get a complete check. Miss Ingle will give you a list of every article that should appear on the invoice, and it must be checked on the first of each month. Mr Kellogg will furnish a man from his office for the purpose for the checking Aug. 1st, after which time some clerk in the hotel will do it.

E. S. Babcock.

I want you to arrange to have invoice of store and wine room taken by some of your clerks on the first of the month. The store keeper has been in the habit of doing this in the past. After this month we can arrange to have some clerk in the hotel who has no connection with the store keeper take the invoices.
