Dear Mr Warren:-
I have been expecting to hear from you by almost every mail, as the telegram I received from you was rather mutilated, and I only understood that you had decided not to come and probably had made arrangements elsewhere.
I am sorry that you did not at least come down and talk the matter over with me.
Can you tell me any further news in regard to the Chef you referred to, and have you heard whether he would be likely to come down and take our hotel?
