Hunter, John C.
In an effort to "revive old acquaintance," Hunter provides Adams with "a pin point biography." He was "torn away bodily in 1942 and sent to the Field Artillery at Fort Meade, Maryland" from teaching. After a short period of training he attended two Army Specialized Training Programs, the Vint Hill Cryptographic School, and then was sent to England and France. He is "billeted in the living room with three other soldiers in a Luxembourgian household."
