Post, Lauren C., Editor
The Christmas edition of 1943 is the first to include color, in Christmas-themed decorations. The front page has an aerial photograph and letters from San Diego State College administrators: Walter Hepner, Mary Mendenhall, and C. E. Peterson. Hepner writes, "I do wish for you every success and all the joy and satisfaction that is at all possible under the unique circumstances in which each one of you may find himself in this holiday season," and Dean Peterson speaks of his pride in alumni. There is also notice of the first alumni "overseas wedding," of Virginia T. Casey and Thomas N. Chavis.
