This annual salutes "the 81-82 seniors in their quest for higher education, parking places and social togetherness." It shows the pronunciation and meaning of the yearbook name, "Del Sudoeste" on pages 2 and 3. The message from President Thomas Day (1978-1996) shows him standing outside Hepner Hall. Two pages are mainly devoted to student protests and a headline about how 345 classes were "axed after budget cuts." On page 67 is "Jim Carruthers in his last year as Aztec Center Director."
