The "Folk Festival" claims an early three-page spread in this San Diego State University annual. Charles Colson and Eldridge Cleaver were speakers on campus. The building program is ongoing, as a photograph of a man in a hard hat in front of a construction site shows. During the Owens Valley water dispute, San Diego State University suffered water shortages along with Los Angeles. The only credits given in this yearbook are to photographers and Delmar Studios, which had published the book in the past.
