"Humungus" is written sideways on the cover of this San Diego State College annual. This is the first yearbook since 1971, created by "the students oif Journalism 461," who boast that "The yearbook is back and it's humungus." A figure of a gorilla was used to advertise sales of the yearbook. A set of old photographs accompanies a "State Through the Past" year-by-year history, covering a few events in the years lacking an annual. Daniel Ellsberg spoke, and Boz Scaggs, Jimmy Buffett, and Charles Mingus played on campus
