Editor-in-Chief: Maddux, Marcella
The end papers of this San Diego State College annual feature the newly opened Malcolm A. Love Library, a page inside is dedicated to the move. Bomb scares, peace marches, and electrical and parking shortages characterized the year, according to a page 4 precis, and "crowded conditions" are described and pictured a few pages later. Two pages are devoted simply to "Hair" (styles) and two to the new Women's Studies Program, with one for Jane Fonda's appearance, one for the visit of Health, Education, and Welfare Secretary Elliot Richardson; and one for William F. Buckley, Jr. The Hare Krishna sect arrived on campus, and so did Frank Zappa and Boz Scaggs. President Malcolm A. Love retired this year, having served since 1952. The editor writes that this is the "last yearbook," due to funding problems, but as it turns out, the yearbook was revived in the 1975-1976 school year.
