Andries Nielen
Lane through eucalyptus forest in San Diego's Balboa Park. The inscription "Nielen Cin.O" on the bottom left identifies this is a creation of Andries Nielen, with the sequential negative number (here "37") and the date the photograph was taken ("34") 1934. Kate Sessions (Katherine Olivia Sessions 1857-1940) started planting trees in Balboa Park (then City Park) at the rate of 100 per year in 1892, and thousands were planted for both the 1915 Panama-California International Exposition and the 1935 California Pacific International Exposition. This particular grouping is not identified.
