The Ferris wheel on the right and the Ship Cafe behind it toward the left are lit up as crowds walk the midway. A sign on the left reads "Zoo." These structures were on or dependent on the Abbot Kinney Pier. This card dates from sometime between the building of the Ferris wheel (1911) and the destruction of the pier by fire in 1920. The logo of the Tichnor Brothers is on the divided back.
