A crowd of people are walking on and off the Venice pier, which has lights mounted above. Banners and decorations are fluttering on the left and left to right. The pier was constructed at the foot of Windward Avenue for Abbot Kinney in 1905, with its Ship Cafe and Venice Auditorium. This pier burned in 1920 and was reconstructed. The publisher's number 3751 is on the back of the card along the dividing line. Also on the inside of a small left panel is the warning not to write anything in the space except for a return address.
