This is a view of the Cafe Nat Goodwin with flags flying and bathing beauties in the Pacific Ocean beside it. The cafe was on the private Bristol Pier in Santa Monica, opened by vaudevillian and film actor Nat Goodwin in 1913. With his wife Marjorie Moreland as cook, Goodwin ran a cabaret, ballroom and roof garden as well as eatery. After renaming the Crystal Pier, Goodwin sold his operation to Baron Long in 1916, when the cafe became a Sunset Inn. The card has a white border.
