Harlem Springs (misspelled on this card) was a small community based around the hot springs five miles northeast of San Bernardino. In the background are the Arrowhead Hotel at Arrowhead Springs, and the San Bernardino Mountains, with the snowy arrowhead visibly pointing as if to the hotel. Harlem Springs was founded in 1887 and had a swimming pool, bath houses, an entertainment hall and picnic grounds. It eventually became part of the city of Highland.
