A cement bridge over a pond occupies the middle of the image, with water in the foreground and mountains in the distance. This area at 2nd and Sierra Way had been known as Squaw Flat until Mary Bennett Goodcell enlisted the citizenry to clean it up and create the first city park in 1910. It included this pond that was the first city swimming pool. The publisher's number J 331 is on the divided back along with the railroad promotional motto "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders."
