The high school is set off by itself, stretching into the distance with eight buildings and a smokestack and flag. Across green fields are the distant mountains. According to author Steven Shaw, its isolation at Eighteenth and E Streets caused controversy when the school was planned, but the first buildings were built in 1915. The campus eventually belonged to San Bernardino High School. On the back is the Teich number A-61252, from which the date was derived.
