In this "handcolored" view, the courtyard or patio of the de la Guerra Studios features palms and flowering shrubs, as well as climbing flowers. The de la Guerra Studios were the product of renovating the old Mexican governor's home near the Presidio. They were movie studios that in 1924 became the object of planning for the El Paseo complex, or "Streets of Spain."
