Cabrillo Boulevard runs along the Pacific Ocean front in Santa Barbara, as seen here, with West Cabrillo merging with Shoreline Drive. At the intersection of Castillo Street (on the left) and what became Shoreline Drive, the municipal pool was opened in 1939, later called Los Baños del Mar.
