The Glenwood Mission Inn has received guests (including ten United States presidents) for over a century, and is a historic landmark in the city of Riverside, California. Built in 1876 by Christopher Columbus Miller, the hotel was originally the Miller home, later called the "Old Adobe." Miller's son Frank bought the property and became the Master of the Inn, Glenwood Inn and later Mission Inn. In 1903 the first wing of the new building was opened. This double-wide card gives an appreciation of the scope of the Inn as Miller built it up over 30 years. It occupies a city block. Made in Germany to be folded picture-side in for mailing, this "Souvenir Mail Card" is untraveled. The back is divided but only allows a return address, and the publisher's number is printed to the left of the dividing line on the back of the postcard: 34/63.
