Written under the title on the front of the postcard is the following poem:

"You have heard sweet bells a-ringing

Down the lanes of memory,

heard them calling, heard them singing,

In the days that used to be,

But far sweeter, finer, clearer,

Bringing angels faces nearer,

Making life deviner, dearer-

Are the Mission chimes to me."

On the right are the stairs to the Campanario from the "Old Adobe" original hotel. On the back are the Inn's logo the raincross and a drawing of a portion of a campanario.
