Glenwood Mission Inn, Riverside, California
The descriptive paragraph on the divided back states: "Inside, palms, grape vines and shrubs make of the court a garden such as the 'Padres' loved. The old lumbering ox-cart of a hundred years ago is a reminder of the early Mission Days." "Padres" is a reference to the Roman Catholic "fathers" in charge of California missions. Included in the view are the Campanario, the "Old Adobe" original Glenwood Hotel (1876) and behind them the Carillon Tower. This card was made in Germany and has the publisher's number G. 44 on the back.
