This view of the hotel is from just beside the circular drive below the portico and steps. Several sets of dormer windows have chimneys between them, and a tower just behind the portico dominates the scene. The hotel opened in 1890, was purchased by the city in 1922 and used for offices, and then dismantled in 1925. The divided back has the logos of both the publisher and the contributor.
