Auditorium, casino and bath house, Redondo Beach, California
These three buildings were in a line on Pacific Avenue along Wharf Number One, here in the foreground with the rocky breakwater and surf. The "bath house" on the far right was the Redondo Beach Plunge, built in 1909. In between, the casino is the 16-century-German-style building in between the other two, designed and built by M. Mayer. Significantly, it was remodeled in 1912 to become the Capitol Theatre at 127 South El Paseo, which fact, along with the date of construction of the bathing pavilion, limits the production dates of this card to 1909-1912. The publisher's number on the divided back is 693.
